AptiQuant does, however, single IE out as not only the newly anointed Browser for Dummies™, but also as an expensive drag on web developers. "Any IT company involved in web development will acknowledge the fact that millions of man hours are wasted each year to make otherwise perfectly functional websites work in Internet Explorer," they noted when announcing their results. ®
This reminds me of a test between vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters.
What does it say..?Quote from CJ Jackson on July 30th, 2011, 12:59 AM This reminds me of a test between vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters.
it would imply that threaded discussions are possible (which they aren't)
Lol very funny.
I'm not surprised though. I have an iq of 179. :niark:
Iq could also be based on the number of opened tabs i'm sure.
Ah, so you're a Mac user?
Microsoft TOOK AWAY our IE 5
Without a Install and Repair DVD in Hand?!?
I'm an IT guy with heavy HARDWARE Background - I KNOW Better than to buy a PC! ALWAYS bought a Mac ...
Mac's use PC hardware, there is hardly anything special about Mac's hardware.
Well, it is a very specific set of PC hardware, to be precise. It is possible to run OS X on a PC provided that it's an Intel and has similar/same type of graphics and sound attached...Quote Mac's use PC hardware, there is hardly anything special about Mac's hardware.

Not to sound like a fanboy but the reality is exactly the opposite. Mac's use PC hardware, there is hardly anything special about Mac's hardware. It's Mac OS X that actually makes a difference(if any).
Using that logic, I can run OS X on my AMD... nope, doesn't work like that.

IE8 doesn't work thaaat bad. Of course, It's IE... But IE8 makes sites look a lot better than IE6 & 7...

Not particularly reliably. Like I said, some stuff will work just fine, some won't and some will be temperamental. A fair amount depends on how it was compiled, stuff compiled from the likes of gcc will likely be more stable and less glitchy, because it's not compiled with Intel specific optimisations for the most part.
Sea Mac, you posts look dreadful.
There's always got to be a Troll around: not contributing to the post, but trying to hurt peoples feelings.
I know I'm different.
I celebrate it.

Always reminds me of the goth kids in South Park (Raisins, The Ungroundable...), they're pretty funny in their desire to stand apart from society and fight against conformism... ;)

I'm not surprised to be honest... Most of the people I know who still use IE as their normal browser are not the brightest... :)
Are we all misfits in here? :P
@Rusty> Actually, I spend a lot of time fixing *all* browsers... Because they're not all as good as Opera when it comes to following standards...
Of course, IE6 is the worst of all, but considering I'm spending less and less time giving a shit about it... By the time we're out, it'll be used by less than 10% of users, *and* most of these are in China and Korea anyway. Wedge's target is primarily English and French speaking countries.
