Is there any way to get SMTP working with SSL / TLS? There is no check box for it, I could set the port to the SSL port but it still fails.
Testing with GMail SMTP.
Error:

Couldn't get mail server response codes

Sorry, I don't know fuck about SSL+SMTP, didn't even know there was something special with that setup...
You'll have to lead my hand here.

I'll do some research and get back to you.
Hopefully my internet will be connected on Friday, 3 weeks without is too long.

So it seems that entering the server as:
ssl://sever.name
Seems to work, will keep testing
-
Can Confirm: Does work.

No probs.
It might help someone that uses GMail SMTP or SSL SMTP.
I like to feel useful (even if it's only small) :)
