Title: Anyone else get this? 'Create New Category' gives Forbidden error

I've just reinstalled Wedge from scratch as I thought this error may be due to something I'd done, but I get the same issue straight off the bat.

When I go into the Admin panel and go to 'Create New Category' I'm either taken to the home screen or, without the .htaccess file, I get this message:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /index.php on this server.

Obviously I've checked the permissions (644) but why would it go wrong for this screen and not others?

I just checked and I have no problems creating new categories.

Sounds like it's permission / hosting related.
