After following (off and on) this project since 2011, I finally downloaded the alpha and chucked it on a VPS.
Thankyou Neo!
And thankyou to all the others that have helped with this mammoth effort over its three-year inception.
After an initial stumble (more my unfamiliarity with Webmin than anything to do with the installer) I had it up and running.
And, apart from a few minor niggles, I managed to log in, create a few sub-boards and post a message or two.
How fucking awesome is that?!!! :)
I can see a lot of my time being unproductively spent over the next few weeks delving into it - no doubt I can put it to very good use.
Again, thanks.

It's pretty awesome... I was stoked when I finally got a chance to test it.
-
I've got a few issues, but don't want to put them in the 'bug' category, as they are so apparent that they would have been listed already - where do we go for help/advice?
-
Bug reports is the right place :)
Even if their trivial, put them in.

It's @Nao, by the way (Oh, and yes, tagging members is one of the many awesome features on Wedge) ;)

Oops... Sorry @Nao . Visions of Matrix-like code took over from my spelling hindbrain :(

I want to join the hat-tipping here.
Fantastic work by @Nao (and all the others helping out).
Had my eye on Wedge since about a year ago and was seriously excited about the prospect of actually testing it out.
Impressions so far are that it's just 100 times more sleek than SMF and really incredibly fast.
There are so many cool plugins available for it already (huge  on the plugin system, BTW) and the admin UI is several orders of magnitude better than SMF.
If I have my way (and I'm the forum admin in my group, so chances are good :niark:), we'll just wait for a couple of important (to us) plugins to be finished, and we'll start migrating - alpha or no.
You can tell I'm excited, can't you

I've been following this up too since a some time. I so want to move away from SMF, because it's so limited with what you can do. but didn't have time to test this out. So i'm now back to test and hopefully help out with finding bugs and such.
Thanks again @Nao, really appreciate your and the teams effort on this.
