Post by: DirtRider on October 17th, 2010, 07:47 PM
I do a lot of work on customers PC's and each time I use my flash stick it ends up riddle with Trojans  I don't know how companies cannot take better care of their networks  :hmm:

Yes I must agree with you and I don't know about your side but the IT people this side all seem to have attitudes.  683 infections found so far on my flash disk  I think I must get myself another small flash disk and just have the stuff on it I know I will be working with at that customer

Looks like companies need to start looking at better anti virus protection to start off with. I think I am going to give this a go http://www.irongeek.com/i.php?page=security/thumbscrew-software-usb-write-blocker or this one http://www.naevius.com/protect_usb.htm

It's old, really! 1991 I think. On the Atari ST. Best anti-virus of its kind at the time.

Well I just had to redo my flash disk again. So now I am going to try Panda USB Protection and see how it works http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeusers/downloads/usbvaccine/
