Bug reports / Re: From Order... Chaos
« on July 23rd, 2014, 09:45 PM »
I've cleared the cache several times and I use Firefox by default. Just fired it up in IE and the new order is correct. Yay!

But I find I can't login using IE. <_< Bad Behaviour says I'm not welcome... WTF?

Oh well. at least it seems to have identified a Firefox caching issue for me.

Aaaannnd, edit:

I managed to get in using IE and I find the old (unwanted) order becomes visible when logged in. So I now find using IE or Firefox, guests see the correct order but logged in 'members' (that's me) see the unwanted order.

Any suggestions on fixing that?

Weird. Clean install, create two categories with two boards in each. Move them around by drag n' drop, save the new order - they don't move.

If I try to modify the board settings it says they are in the (new) order, but they're not. I change the order, save, change again, save. They don't move :/

Don't know if it's me but reordering forum boards and categories isn't working? I've tried drag n' drop ordering and modifying board details but the order doesn't change.

Bug or no bug?

Plugin Support / Re: Flitter update
« on June 30th, 2014, 03:18 PM »
Disabling the plugin was the only way to stop the ever growing error log and I purge cache with every new rev install. But, yay, enabling it again did the trick.

Thanks CG.

Plugin Support / Flitter update

Not sure if this belongs here or bug reports

Since applying the new revs for the Flitter plugin I get a whole queue of errors - but only when I enter the general Wedge admin pages.

Examples:

http://.../index.php?action=admin;area=flitter
8: Undefined index: flitter_position_sidebar
File: /home/.../plugins/flitter/Flitter-Admin.php
Line: 33

http://.../index.php?action=admin;area=flitter
8: Undefined index: flitter_position_topic
File: /home/.../plugins/flitter/Flitter-Admin.php
Line: 33

http://.../index.php?action=admin;area=flitter
8: Undefined index: Wedge:Flitter
File: /home/.../plugins/flitter/Flitter-Admin.php
Line: 15

http://.../index.php?action=admin;area=flitter
8: Undefined index: flitter
File: /home/.../plugins/flitter/Flitter-Admin.php
Line: 61

Also, the Flitter admin page looks like the attached file:

Archived fixes / Re: Wrong width on home menu

Same here.

I also have 'Calendar' in the menu list but the 'Media Gallery' text overhangs the menu exactly like that.

OK, I see where you're coming from. I wouldn't really say the page looks different though - no difference that strikes me anyway.

Cosmetic, fickle, bling etc... yeah, I see why Nao should be tired of that.

I'll make it a skin option. It'll be easier on eberyone. Still... Not too happy that people are generally seeing a fork's worth as its default theme. Outside of it, it's too 'complicated' to evaluate.
I think I'm missing something here. Nao is clearly not too happy as stated - but about what exactly? People liking (or not liking) a menu system? And the complicated evaluation? I'm lost :-/

Someone please explain (in simple terms, like I was a 5 year old) what the problem is: for users and for Nao?

Personally I'm not a fan of icons within the drop down menu (just the 'gallery' or 'member' wording should suffice).

But generally speaking, a menu is a menu is a menu. Drop down, pop up, static list in left or right column... whatever makes for easier coding and better speed is good for me.

And yet Wedge feels so much better to me than SMF ever did - and I really tried to like SMF several times.

I think someone hacked into Pete's account...
Or he gave his login details away?

If you're correct Wedge has a security issue that needs fixing :o
