So I can only suggest that you add this useful option to Wedge.

Resize images no in Wedge?
In SMF 2.0 I use this mod:
"Selecting this option will resize any existing images which are larger than the set dimensions for attached images".

I'm not a programmer or a mod developer. I have a desire to find a modern forum engine for migrating from SMF 2.0 because release 2.1 has stopped in development.
But I don't want to migrate to another forum engine that has also stopped developing as SMF 2.1
I liked the Russian translation of your forum engine description here: dragomano.ru/articles/wedge
"Wedge, the first modification of the original SMF forum, is an alternative for fans of not just forums, but all-in-one blogs.
Enhanced security, UTF8 support, and out-of-the-box add-ons. Instead of modifications, Wedge uses the term "plugin". Plug-ins are enabled and disabled with a single button."
