Well, apart from the indentation and multiple echos... :^^;:
I still haven't properly learned the " . " trick to avoid the repetition.. :P
If this is of any help. You can also do it with a ,

Code: [Select]
echo '<a href="'.$url.'">'.$txt.'<a/>';
echo '<a href="',$url,'">',$txt,'<a/>';

You mean 'Death On Two Legs' from A Night At The Opera? That's not 'considered' a hate song, it's fairly clearly so :P The real trick is knowing who it was 'dedicated to...' ;)

* Arantor is such a Queen fan, he even tracked down that truly, truly awful game based on Queen's music.
Yeah I was referring to Death on Two Legs. Ex Manager Norman (I forgot what his last name is) if I'm not mistaken.

Thing is, that was 3 years ago and not really a lot has changed in that time. http://www.elkarte.net/index.php?topic=310.0 is also well worth the read.
I was reading that yesterday and I agree with a few of the things that TestMonkey(Norv?) said.

My favourite off that was always Don't Stop Me Now.
One of my favorites as well(Though I like a lot of their songs even the one that is considered a hate letter) I was planning on posting it as well.

I admit I downloaded the zip archive. I downloaded it so I could read some of the source code(even though I don't have access to SVN).

1.  If a person desires to use Wedge, would they first need to install SMF, and then install Wedge on top?  Or would Wedge be a stand-alone forum software?
Stand-alone.

2.  I read in the FAQ's that you all were going to include a lot of powerful features, like Calendar and Blog as part of the system.  I agree with your analogy of MS Word.  Would a frontpage (like "TinyPortal") be potentially included?
Calender has actually been removed from the Wedge, though it is going to be part of a plugin.

3.  Lastly, how easy would it be for a third-party gallery system (like say, "Coppermine Photo Gallery") to create a bridge to you?
Um Wedge includes Aeva Media so I don't really see a need for a bridge to an other gallery system.

I say cut it. Not really sure what else to say, but I do agree with the points that you made.

Yep...

Or maybe we just want non-Europeans to shut up and accept the truth for what it is: our system is the One True System... :niark:
Then you have other people claim that their system is the one true system. Though I feel that one true system does not exist.
