Off-topic / ISPConfig
« on September 30th, 2012, 12:45 PM »
Anyone here have admin experience of ISPConfig 3?

I've installed it on a box of mine, and managed to make a "client" with a website, but when I go to any URL other than index.html for that client (such as "/forum/index.php") it doubles up the bit after the FQDN (so, "/forum/index.php/forum/index.php").

Just wondering if this is know behaviour and if there's a known fix; I've had no luck getting Google search results that help... Heck, if anyone can get a Google search term that helps I'd be grateful.

Archived fixes / In passing...

... I clicked on Pete's most recent post on a thread [ http://http://wedge.org/?topic=7330.msg277483#new ] and was greeted by:-

Fatal error: Class 'wetem' not found in /Sources/Load.php on line 1874

Went back and clicked it again and everything worked fine, so fully prepped for "Can't reproduce/works for me". :eheh:

Off-topic / Let me hold a dollar?
« on March 12th, 2012, 02:51 PM »
Oh great and all powerful deities of PHP...  :eheh:

I need a way to inject a little HTML text into an HTML "page" (it's an email actually, but not important) just after the opening body tag (so "<body><p>" becomes "<body>Insert text here.<p>"), but I want it to work whether the opening body tag is "<body>" or "<body class='irregardless' id='a-whole-nuther' style='all-of-a-sudden'>" or anything else in that general area. The HTML is all in a single variable, so I just need something that does a needle/haystack replace (case insensitive) in all cases.

I've successfully used str_ireplace against just "<body>" without any problems, but my preg-fu doesn't extend to catching all cases. Help?

Off-topic / Apache rewrite assistance
« on January 6th, 2012, 03:52 PM »
Any Apache rewrite gurus out there willing to offer a (for you) easy bit of assistance?

Situation is this, I have a VPS which has a couple of listening V hosts and IP addresses (for argument's sake; host.domain.com and domain.com, which go to 1.2.3.4 and 2.3.4.5 respectively), and a mailman install (on 1.2.3.4) which for no reason I can fathom has it's webpage URLs all set to domain.com (not where mailman is). I've checked all the mailman conf files and they rightly have the correct webpage host of host.domain.com set, so lord knows why it's started handing out domain.com URLs (and yes, I'm going to get my VPS support folks to explain that one to me if they can), but in the mean time we've got mail stacking up in mailman for moderation that we can't do anything with. Quickest solution I can think of (given it all goes via Apache) is to set up a rewrite to trap this and fix it on the fly; unfortunately, I don't know rewrite all that well.

So, can someone help out with a rewrite set that will spot "domain.com/mailman/*" and rewrite it to "host.domain.com/mailman/*"?

Off-topic / Anyone know Fancybox?
« on November 21st, 2011, 11:43 AM »
I'm trying to use Fancybox for a project I'm doing, and I can't get the damn thing to work at all >:(

I've followed their "How To Use" to the letter, but I still don't get a fancybox. If any of you out there know it and can either give me a 101 on it (or look at my code and point out where I've gone wrong) I'd be most grateful.

Off-topic / Form repopulation
« on October 26th, 2011, 10:23 AM »
Bit of a technical question for the proper devs out there (I get by, but I'm not a dev by any stretch)...

At work we use MantisBT, and we have a number of users who either because of stupidity or sheer bloody mindedness don't remember that if they use the browser "Back" and "Forward" button(s) whilst filling in the new issue form, the form loses any information they typed. So, I'm wondering how feasible it would be to dury-rig MantisBT into keeping the form contents for these people?

Now, actual question is, since these are the browser controls at work, is there a way of doing the saving client-side/in-browser, rather than server-side?

The Pub / Wedge.org FAQ board
« on May 3rd, 2011, 11:17 AM »
@Nao/Arantor, how did you make the FAQ board here? I'd like to do something similar (effectively, a blog post followed by comments) on my SMF - assuming not too much hacking is required; I'd like to be able to parallel to wedge when able :)
