Hmm... That's the kind of thing that's easy to do in Wedge, normally.
Copy Home.php into another file, say Front.php, rename Home() to Front(), copy Home.template.php to Front.template.php, then do your modifications... Now go to the admin area, Home page settings, choose Custom action (I think it's called that), and enter 'Front' in the input box. Save. Should work...

Note that I've decided to unlock this topic and allow comments related to new revisions. It's better than always having to dug up the New revs comment topic or create a new topic to comment, which rarely happens...
I'm also doing that because the github reposts have a clear look and you can choose to simply skip the posts that don't like them. Or follow new revs on github, whichever you prefer.
Please stay on topic. This isn't a support topic!

The Pub / Moving from SMF 2, RC5 to Wedge Alpha -- a success story!
foo « on June 9th, 2014, 07:16 AM »
I recently moved the small forum I maintain from SMF 2.0 RC5 to the Alpha distribution of Wedge. I'm happy to say it was a relatively painless experience, and the Wedge distribution is working well for us. The users like the Wedge software much better, especially on their phones and mobile devices.
It's hosted on one.com's servers (LAMP), and has been running without incident for a couple of weeks now. Performance is at least as good as the old SMF forum and usually better.
I had to edit the install to remove the set timeout, which our host does not allow, and change the location of the database from localhost -- both these things are site-specific. The import program appears to have worked perfectly, and copied the contents of the old forum to the new.
So, all in all, a pleasant experience for admin and users alike. Well done!

This plugin is pretty fucked up... :-/
I've had a quick look. I translated the holiday day to French. Added Bastille Day for good measure (it's French software, FFS :P), went to the admin, tried to add the day... Hmm, nope.
Uninstalled plugin. Told Wedge to delete all data (i.e. calendar tables). Then reinstalled it. Guess what..? The holiday list is completely empty. -_-
There are indeed untranslated strings, notably when 'adding a new holiday'.
Plus, whatever's mentioned above, and that I'm SURE is correct...
What I'm not sure of, is whether I want to get to work on this right now, uh...

It seems there is another error:
Event month is missing. Also 2 language strings are missing?
Will look into it when I got time.

This has become very quiet, unless I missed it which I doubt. This is a feature that, for me at least, is necessary for my sites and although I find references to it on this or that post I don't seem to find any details?
Cheers
