I do - actively contributing to a couple of open source applications and operating systems. It's just that I don't have the time to establish a better Linux distribution completely on my own.
Have you ever heard of idiocracy?
Seriously though, FLOSS was about transparency one day. Systemd blurs transparency and makes it harder to understand what your system is doing. Also, with systemd enabled, you'll have to accept a pretty lot of default services if you don't want to lose "functionality". Replacing them is deprecated. Choice is made harder.
Missed the last part, haven't you?
No one said you were.

We only took a decision not to make any decisions, if I may say... We didn't want to get into the technicalities of money making (selling the main software? selling plugins? selling support?), especially since we both knew we had little to earn here, and it would be more of a hassle than anything else. However, with Pete leaving the project and me having a kid, I guess I'm in a situation where I need to make an actual decision.
Of course, considering how few forums are currently using Wedge, despite it being 10 times better than any SMF or ElkArte package, I don't think I'm ever going to make over $100 for these 5 years of work, so yeah...
Who cares, eh. Even selling the software + tech support won't bring much.
The caveat, of course, is that I'll have to eventually push Wedge to the side, and devote myself to a business that actually makes me some money. :(
Either way I like the forum and I am going to keep at it (I briefly tried Elk and asked if there was a Wedge to Elk importer, and while I like it, the Wedge project seems to have more friendly people).

I am a brand snob when it comes to bikes... I don't want to die, so I want the best I can have.

I'd like to get a Honda CBR1000R Fireblade, I feel it would have enough power for me.

I ended up buying a Honda CBR250R.
It's a nice starter bike until I can get my full licence (In Australia they have a graduated motorcycle licencing system).
