A found you. So you know, I see. I just thought I'd share with you, as I didn't saw some topic about it. After all the stuff that happened I think it's a nice step to do something like this.

Ah, so that's how it's supposed to look! :P (I block all Facebook content on non-facebook sites.)
I do the same. The main page looks completely fine for me :D

I searched for it, but didn't found a topic or post about it. Did anyone else saw that Nao is in the SMF2.0 credits?

As per links earlier in this thread, Win7 does run on P266 with 96MB RAM... just slowly...
Yeah, I noticed that it works, but I want my to run fast. I'm thinking about putting two 2GB ram sticks into my laptop. Then I can switch over to Win 7 :)

Even though recent independent studies show it is still more insecure than Windows 7 (esp. 64 bit installs)?
If you talk about win xp then i just can say taht my laptop doesn't work well with win 7. I don't have any win vista or win 7 drivers or would the ram in it be enough to use it. (But I do have win 7 installation. I bought a family pack :D)

You missed my point.

I pay several times more than you and have less transfer... The extra space isn't that important but I don't have odd CPU caps...
I never got a notice from my host of such things. I don't have any cpu caps as well  or not that I'M ware of  :eheheh:

I don't know how other hosts hand that stuff and I'm not really sure how my host handle this. But as an example I don't have such a cpanel thing or something. I have a KIS (client information system) where i can login to add subdomains and other stuff. If you overuse the cpu or something I think it will be handled right by the host itself. There are times when one or another client used to much, but I wonder what they used as it slowed down the whole host.

Well I do like the idea of a own server, but still it would be just to much for my small sites i'm working on  ;)

What he's trying to say is that unlimited doesn't exist. If someone promises unlimited bandwidth, they're lying to you and you should avoid them. You'll always be limited; either by another element (such as CPU time share or MySQL space or whatever) that will prevent you from using all available bandwidth -- and even if they don't advertise any 'blocker', they'll simply e-mail you once you start using too much bandwidth. Which is kinda funny. But, well, it happened to me with several hosts...
Yeah well and as I said. They didn't had it before. I had 100 GB 2 years ago as my max traffic i could use up. It seems like the most webpackages didn't used that much traffic, so they changed it to make it >sound better<. But it means what it means. It's not limited in the option menu anymore. I just pay 5¤ / Month and I'm totally okay with the space. Sure I don't have 32 GB Space, but what I currently have is completely sufficient for my needs. Then the time comes, I'll change to a managed vserver as I have some more people who I could share those GB's of space together ;)
Back to topic:
That little jquery file will definitely not explode my traffic usage, so... I'm still prefer a local hosted version.

That's all I gonna say to it :)

Thanks for this change :D Before it was really irritating as it looked really like you could go to the next page of the topic.

But if admins disable remote avatars and you have the ability to use gravatars, wouldn't they be remote avatars after all? :hmm: Well, except if you store them temporally or for a certain amount of time in the forums cache. That would mean less requests to the gravatar site and faster responding on the forum.

So? My host didn't had unlimited traffic before. They did an upgrade last year (with a space upgrade) which they changed from 100 GB per month to unlimited. I'm not on one of those american unreliable hosters  -_-.
