I want to join the hat-tipping here.
Fantastic work by @Nao (and all the others helping out).
Had my eye on Wedge since about a year ago and was seriously excited about the prospect of actually testing it out.
Impressions so far are that it's just 100 times more sleek than SMF and really incredibly fast.
There are so many cool plugins available for it already (huge :cool: on the plugin system, BTW) and the admin UI is several orders of magnitude better than SMF.
If I have my way (and I'm the forum admin in my group, so chances are good :niark:), we'll just wait for a couple of important (to us) plugins to be finished, and we'll start migrating - alpha or no.
You can tell I'm excited, can't you :whistle:

I'll obviously have to learn a bit more of the deeper details in order to implement this, but a challenge is always good :)

What it is, is a mission briefing, presented in the style of a five paragraph order, based on a METT-TC (Mission, Enemy, Terrain and weather, Troops, Time available, Civil considerations) analysis.
I didn't want to bring this up immediately, since this exact need is super-specific to us, whereas a more general approach could maybe be used for several things.

Importing into Wedge / Importing from SMF 2.0.7 - "Cannot set time limit"

Using the SMF 2.0 to Wedge importer (downloaded today) with the newest nightly build of Wedge.
The importer fails at "step=1", with the following error:

I'm guessing it is some sort of DB authorization that's missing, but I don't know enough about this stuff to know where to start looking. Would anyone care to enlighten me?

As in: Is there currently any way to make pre-formatted posts or blog entries?
We have certain requirements from some posts which will be posted over and over again by different authors, and it would be nice if they could simply be given a template for filling in. Is there any way of adding some more templates, short of building a plugin on my own?
And if not, where do I start? :)
I have programming experience, I just haven't touched JS or PHP to any great extent.

I know it's only one plugin among many plugins and features that are in the pipeline, but I just want to express my interest in this.
For my part, the specific functionality that I'm looking for in a calendar (and which has been discussed in one of the relevant threads here) is Event Attendance, or RSVP if you will.
What's the best way for me to contribute, seeing as I don't speak php?

However, I'm not seeing this plugin on there. Neither as a standalone repo nor as part of his Wedge/plugins fork.
Though this could be due to my inability to navigate GitHub properly ... I do not discount that possibility :blush:
