Congrats to the both of you. :) It's been a joy to see you guys work (or talking about what you're working on in public, at least), and I am extremely excited to see what the next year holds!

See, you only think he was referencing LOTR. But, in fact, he is serious. First, Wedge will take over SMF. Then, it will take over the internet. And finally....the world! *cue evil laugh*

I'm sure you'll use it a much better way than the way they did ages ago. ;)

(By the way, I was making a jab at old-style politics. Not the way that you guys do things. :P)

No SMF themes or mods will work at all, other than what we directly add to the core, the changes already for this have gone beyond the point where a standard package will work.
To just to be clear, all extraneous mod data on someone's forum will just be dropped when being imported, right? Only the data that Wedge accepts will be pulled from the imported forum?

From what I heard Wedge will have an "importer". You can install Wedge side-by-side of your SMF Forum to see which you like better, and if you choose Wedge then it will import all of your data to your new Wedge forum.

And since Avea will be cooked into Wedge i'm sure that your current Avea info on your SMF forum will transition just fine. :)

Edit: ninja'd by Arantor.

Sorry for reviving this thread, but it seemed better than making a whole topic.

Nao, if you like word games like Scrabble then you should check out Words With Friends. It's also able to be played cross-OS so regardless if someone has an Android device you can still face them (though from what I read in the other Apple thread a lot of people here have handheld Apple devices anyways, so it doesn't really matter much). It might be worth checking into. :) The only annoyance is that you have to pay for the "full" version to get rid of the ads.

Personally, I would suggest Portal 2 even though it's not out yet.

Wait, that is what we're talking about right...? :P

Not to add in any opinions (too many chefs in the kitchen and all that), but I find it kind of amusing that the colors that you ended up going with for the logo are the colors that were mentioned for the public/private sections. :P
